| OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Simplicity
A hydrostatic fluid linkage between
master and slave - similar in operating principle to the common automobile
brake system.
|
PERFORMANCE
-
Pumps the deepest wells.
-
Operates (pulls) big bore pumps at greater strokes per
minute.
-
Pump strokes to 150 inches (381 cm), up to 15 strokes per
minute, with rod loads to 55,000 pounds (25,100kg).
-
Requires less horsepower to operate than conventional mechanical
pump jacks.
-
All weather operation.
PORTABLE
-
Concrete foundations not required. Unit mounts directly
to a conventional wellhead - a major cost saving.
-
The portable power unit is skid mounted and easily handled
in the field.
-
Easily installed or removed by a two man crew in a matter
of hours! This feature makes Stantec Hydrostatic Pump Jacks ideal
units for well testing, rotational well pumping or for seasonal wells.
-
Light weight, ideal for soft ground installations such as
muskeg or jungle.
-
Cluster drilled wells, ideal for offshore platforms where
space and weight are critical.
SAFETY
-
All working equipment is accessible from ground level.
-
Accurate and safe balancing - no counterweights to move.
OUTSTANDING FEATURES
-
Simplicity of construction - no hydraulic pumps or valves.
-
Sinusoidal motion of the pump rod generates lower stress
and less fatigue on the rod string.
-
No forces are exerted on the remote power unit.
The force of the polish rod pull is exerted directly on the wellhead by
the slave cylinder.
-
Precise in - service balancing performed within minutes.
-
Instant reading of the maximum and minimum rod load - dyno
charts can be taken from the hydraulic pressure without shutting down the
unit.
STANTEC OPTIONS
-
A choice of power sources - electric, diesel, propane, natural
gas or gasoline.
-
Dial in variable pump speed.
-
Variable stroke length.
-
Dual master cylinder power unit to pump two adjacent wells.
-
Trailer or truck mounted power unit.
-
Safety enclosures or total enclosures.
-
Remote monitoring.
